Nature´s Alchemy Oils. Does it really matter if they are "essential?"
"Essential" means essence of the plant, distilled from plant material, and retaining the unique properties of the plant. Perfume oils are simply laboratory-produced fragrance. This matters if you are using oils for treatment. Only the essentials can enter your bloodstream, through inhaling or applied to your skin, where they do their healing. We have sources for all essential oils, and list only the most popular here. Call if you don't see what you want. Our suppliers are screened for dependability to make sure you are getting the "real thing." The ones we list here are always in stock. If you are not sure what you need, call us at 800-453-1252 or e-mail us at spashop@sbcglobal.net

Our Own Headache Remedy
A few years ago, a friend who was palgued with headaches asked if we could come up with something natural that might help. She was uneasy about the quantity of powerful drugs she had to take to control her migraines. Now, we are not doctors, and we don't do treatments or prescribe but, we reasoned, there were some aromatherapy oils that had a calming effect and it wouldn't hurt to try a combination to see what happened. We came up with our own blend of lavender, ylang, and clary sage which releases serotonin into the bloodstream. Surprisingly, if used before the headache became too severe, it worked. So we made up a small amount for our friends and now we offer it here, to you. It's worth a try.
We also discovered that peppermint and lavender, combined in equal parts, is very effective for headache relief. You can order those oils from the list above. |
